I've tended to be non-political.
Comes from growing up and spending 31 years of my life as a Jehovah's Witless.
I didn't start voting in Canada till 10 or so years AFTER leaving the church in 1985.
So, I don't think of myself as political.
Yet, I am deeply concerned by the direction I see the US moving.
I don't know if George Walter Bush is ill-tended and the "Evil Satan" or if he is well intended and dumb.
But, I am worried about the loss of freedom going on in the US.
I am worried GWB will try to invade Canada. I mean really, we have more freakin oil than Iraq! And, we're a lot nicer!!
And, like there's no sand... well, not much. And, an unprotected border. And, well you get my drift.
I did my Masters in the US.
Most Americans I met are nice people. Caring people.
But, some fit the stereotype "Ugly American!"
Hey, there are a few "Ugly Canadians!" Anyone seen Conrad Black lately??
Back on track:
YOU, my American Cousins, can do something about the direction the US is going.
I can't. Well NOT directly.
SO get your ASS out of the recliner and GO AND VOTE!
IF you are in Florida... make sure the damn voting machine is WORKING CORRECTLY.
